We’ve all shared friendships over the years that we have been grateful for. There has been best friends we’ve shared our most intimate secrets with, close friends we enjoy being with but not sharing too much information with, then acquaintances we considered friends but
know more casually. We know who our true friends are by how they have a way of lifting us up and bringing us into the light when we are in a dark place. Fortunately I have had many of those friends in my life and still do. I know there are friends who have let us down, but, for me they are few and far between, and hope for you too. That’s when and
why God blesses us with true friends!

Lord, we our eternally grateful for the friendships you have blessed us with throughout the years and continue to do so, and may we be, and have been, a blessing to them as well. In your name we pray. Amen
