We all have bumps in the road, some bumpier than others. These bumps can certainly create challenges for us and they can either make us “bitter” or “better.” As years go by I have found these “bumps” along the way serve more as an experience where i have grown from, learned from and been able to move on. I know this might not be the same for everyone but I do believe God tests us because He knows our strengths and our weaknesses, and most of all He is testing our faith. We must learn to listen and obey. He is a patient God and He will guide us but we must be in tune with His word! I am sorry for those that don’t “get it” because it makes all the difference when you come to those “bumps in the road!”

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of faith produces endurance and let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete in lacking in nothing.

Lord God, we know that you control all things by your power, even the “bumps in the road”! Amen
