Our church recently had the opportunity to reach out to our community with a country ham breakfast. Included in that was a yard sale, bake sale and plant/flower sale. To see how well that was embraced and appreciated by those in attendance, not only came from their word of thanks, but the chatter and laughter one could hear during the hours we were there. To see families and friends come together, and folks reunited with those they have not seen in days, weeks and months, makes our ministry that much more important. Our church is small but when it comes to what the Lord leads us to do we all participate in some capacity, and that shows those around us the love we have for Him. Our goal is to be the example to those that enter our doors. May we be the ”little light that shines” on others. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to serve.
Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Prayer:
Thank you Father for the opportunity to serve others. Lead us in how we can grow our ministry, which will not only please you, but bless those around us. In your precious name. Amen
