Finding Strength

Having recently learned the fate of a family member has given me pause to stop and think about how precious our God given life is. This family member, a nephew, is in the final stages of cancer and has refused further treatment. I admire his strength and he has accepted what is to come, whether it be going home to be with our Lord or totally healed. He is surrounded by so much love and no doubt, many prayer warriors! Our fate in life may not always be what we hope for, and God never said our journey would be easy, but His spoken words give us the tools we need to cope with whatever life has in store for us. Are you receiving the strength you need through His words? If not, dig deeper and reach out to those who know the power of prayer and healing!

Isaiah 40:31
Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the Lord will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired.

Prayer:
Thank you, Lord, for continually filling us up with your words of strength, wisdom, guidance and grace. No matter our fate in life, we know you are always with us. Amen

  1. Thank you for sharing this, this is so true! God is good. I pray for us to have eyes to see His goodness in the midst of chaos and pain of loved ones going through life’s battle.

  2. That is so true. God is always with us through our journey. Going before, walking with, helping from within. Thank you for this promise.
