Graduation Anticipation!

With graduations in full swing this time of year, along with the excitement and anticipation of what comes next, it is also a new chapter in the lives of our young people and even in the lives of some “not so young people.” Thinking back on my own graduation, how I felt, and what I experienced, not everything went according to plan. I had my career goals laid out, but after several bumps, bruises and let downs along the way, I finally found my way and accomplished what I had set out to do. I now know it was not only through the support of a loving family, but someone greater than myself who led the way. My best advice to those starting out is not to do it alone because you are not alone. Have patience, listen and the right choices will be right in front of you. “He” is always there with you!

Proverbs 3:6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him and He will make your paths straight.

Prayer:
Father, be with all our graduates as they enter a troubled world and help them to succeed in whatever path they desire to follow. Help them to understand they do not have to make their choices alone, and if they are to succeed they must be still and listen. Amen
