JESUS AND THE JERUSALEM DONKEY!

We know when Jesus entered Jerusalem, He road on a donkey colt. I recently read about a donkey called the “Miniature Mediterranean Donkey,” or also known as the” Jerusalem Donkey.” This donkey is unique because of the cross it carries on its back. Jesus was so specific about the type of donkey He sent His disciples for, I wonder if it was for that particular donkey? Many do, and it makes a lot of sense to me even though I had never heard of that particular kind of donkey until now. How touching it is to know that a little donkey would play such a role in Jesus’s journey. It was said that this may have been the same kind of donkey Mary rode on to Bethlehem, who knows for sure but I know one day we will find out! May Easter bring you a day of peace, joy, renewal and healing, remember He did this for you!

1 Peter 2:24
He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness, by His wounds you have been healed.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, this Easter may we all be reminded of what the day about, not just Easter baskets, candy and Easter egg hunts. May we thankful and grateful for the ultimate price you paid for us. In your precious name we pray. Amen
