Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“If you truly want to dwell forever in God’s presence, forsake evil and do what is right in his eyes. The Lord loves it when he sees us walking in his justice. He will never desert his devoted lovers; they will be kept forever in his faithful care. But the descendants of the wicked will be banished. The faithful lovers of God will inherit the earth and enjoy every promise of God’s care, dwelling in peace forever. So don’t be impatient for the Lord to act: keep moving forward steadily in his ways, and he will exalt you at the right time. And when he does, you will possess every promise, including your full inheritance. You’ll watch with your own eyes and see the wicked lose everything. But the Lord will be the Savior of all who love him. Even in their time of trouble God will live in them as strength.” Psalm 37:27-29, 34, 39 TPT

How many of us think about dwelling forever in God’s presence? A time when sickness is no more, pain doesn’t exist, sadness is a thing of the past, and peace abounds. Almost, more than we can even comprehend, but these are only a few of his promises. In today’s world our patience are tried, and we are many times pulled in so many different directions.
that our inner peace ceases to exist.

In this passage, King David is explaining, that God’s promises are sure, and everlasting. No matter what we face in this life, as faithful lovers of God, we will enjoy all he has for us. As a part of his promise to us, we never need to feel as if we are alone, no matter the situation, or circumstance, we find ourselves in. Imagine, as lovers of God, we can enjoy all his promises, knowing they can be ours, all for the asking.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that in your love for us, as we live for you, we can enjoy eternity together, and be ever so thankful.

In Christ Love
