Just A Few Of My Thoughts…

“If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands. Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you. Be well balanced and always alert, because your enemy, the devil roams around incessantly, like a roaring lion looking for its prey to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure. And then, after your brief suffering, the God of all loving grace, who has called you to share in his eternal glory in Christ, will personally and powerfully restore you and make you stronger than ever.” 1 Peter 5:6-10 TPT

The patience of waiting for an answer, or remembering that God is in control, and that everything in our lives falls within His timing, can so often become challenging. Learning to live among the constant jabs from Satan requires, not only staying in contact with our Father, but applying the appropriate direction found in His Word.

In this passage, Peter is explaining how to stand firm as we encounter our daily struggles, attacking them head on. Allowing God to bare the weight of life’s anxieties requires time, patience, perseverance, and a strong vigorous faith, as we realize our restoration resides in and through Him, following His Word for our direction, using prayer as our means of remaining in contact with Him.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, nothing we encounter is in any way a surprise to you, resolutions for any, and all our struggles are ours, as you await our asking.
