Just A Few Of My Thoughts…

“Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. But these only reveal the sterling core of your faith, which is far more valuable than gold that perishes, for even gold is refined by fire. Your authentic faith will result in even more praise, glory, and honor when Jesus the Anointed One is revealed.” 1 Peter 1:5-7 TPT

Life, in today’s world, is filled with challenges attempting to attract, or distract us from achieving our best, whether in our families, our work, even among our friends, and our places of worship. Yet Satan is constantly looking for a loophole, any place where he can cause conflict, in and among all we strive to achieve. Unfortunately, his goal is to little by little, tear us down. Fortunately, we have a Savior whose desire is to build us up, through our faith, and in the reading and application of His Word, regardless of the circumstance.

In this passage, Peter brings up the endurance of facing trials, such as pain and suffering, or just the fact of dealing with the many challenges we continue to face, daily. As long as we continue to rely on God’s Word as our Truth, with our faith fastened within and throughout our entire being, we can be assured, failure will not be an option, instead, we will be covered with His robe of peace.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember the importance of our faith in you, as you continue to protect and guide us daily, because it’s ours, just for the asking.
