Just A Few Of My Thoughts

“Wisdom is a gift from a generous God, and every word he speaks is full of revelation and becomes a fountain of understanding within you. For the Lord has a hidden storehouse of wisdom made accessible to his godly lovers. He becomes your personal bodyguard as you follow his ways, protecting and guarding you as you choose what is right. Then you will discover all that is just, proper, and fair, and be empowered to make the right decisions as you walk into your destiny. When wisdom wins your heart and revelation breaks in, the pleasure enters your soul. If you choose to follow good counsel, divine design will watch over you and understanding will protect you from making poor choices.”

Proverbs 2:6-11 TPT

Realizing, we are blessed with so many gifts from our Father, recognizing, and nourishing those that will built us up requires a closeness to him, coupled with constant revelations found within his Word. Wisdom, being one such attribute, and a gift from our generous God, is gained through our growth in him, as we continue to glean, as he speaks throughout his Word.

In this passage, King Solomon is expressing the difference wisdom can make in our understanding of all God has for us. Wisdom will become our personal bodyguard, protecting and guarding us, empowering us to make the right decisions as we walk into our destinies. Can you imagine within us, a fountain of understanding, or a storehouse filled with his wisdom, all made accessible to his godly lovers, becoming ours, all for the asking!

Heavenly Father, help us to remember the importance of wisdom, the ability to choose what is right within your divine design, the importance of asking, and in so, to know your peace.
