Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“Yet you must continue to advance in strength with the truth wrapped around your heart, being assured by God that he’s the One who has truly taught you all these things. Remember what you were taught from your childhood from the Holy Scrolls which can impart to you wisdom to experience everlasting life through the faith of Jesus, the Anointed One! Every Scripture has been inspired by the Holy Spirit, the breath of God. It will empower you by its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of godliness. Then you will be God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives you.”
2 Timothy 3:14-17 TPT

With so much uncertainty in today’s society, do we find ourselves questioning our strength to withstand the truths found within His Word? Since false teachings continue to surround us, our means of living and upholding His Truths require an understanding of the scriptures, which contain our standards for testing everything that claims to be true.

In this passage, the Apostle Paul is continuing to declare to Timothy the importance of being equipped with the understanding of the Holy Scriptures, and to remember the importance of his teachings from the Holy Scrolls, including his Mother and Grandmother. Like Timothy, we must continue to advance in strength, wrapping the truth, that being His Word, securely around our heart, its purpose being to equip us to do that which is good and pleasing to Him. Becoming God’s servant, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill his assignments, can be ours, simply for the asking!

Heavenly Father, help us to remember the importance of your Word, as we glean through its pages for our daily walk to be filled with your peace.

In Christ Love
