Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him! And since we now have a magnificent High Priest to welcome us into God’s house, we come closer to God and approach him with an open heart, fully convinced that nothing will keep us at a distance from him. For our hearts have been sprinkled with blood to remove impurity, and we have been freed from an accusing conscience. Now we are clean, unstained, and presentable to God inside and out! So now wrap your hearts tightly around the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! Discover creative ways to encourage others and to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love.” Hebrews 10:20-24 TPT

How many of us have ever given thought to how blessed we are just to have the availability of talking one on one with God? Because of the sacrificial, selfless love of Jesus, we can boldly approach the throne of God. The technology of today’s communication systems is simply off the chain, but totally useless when communicating with our God. We just need a cleansing relationship with his Son, Jesus.

In this passage we are reminded of the life-giving way to approach God, knowing without a doubt he will hear and answer our prayers. We are to live our lives according to his Word, our hearts opened, and filled with Jesus, as we allow ourselves to become saturated with the Holy Spirit. We know that God always keeps his promises, and that in and through Jesus, with faith, we will continue to boldly grow, as we continue in the asking. Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that in your love for us, you gave your Son, awarding us the opportunity of entering into your presence, and be ever so thankful.
