“All the heavens and everything on earth belong to you, for you are the Creator of all that is seen and unseen. Breathtaking and awesome is your power! As we live and work in this world today, do we take into consideration that everything seen, and unseen actually belongs to someone other than ourselves. People may consider themselves wealthy, with material possessions, calling them their own, but in reality, everything we possess is on loan from our Creator . . We are to be diligent caretakers of all our blessings. Within this creation, we can see and feel his greatness. Although he rules with his strong arm of truth, righteousness, and justice, this same arm surrounds us with his loving kindness.
In this passage we can see the greatness of our God, in all his creation, and in his love for us, we can find our strength to live and grow. As we worship him, he rewards us with the ability to walk in the radiance of his presence. The characteristics of God, to include justice, righteousness, truth, faithfulness, and of course love, should instill in us the foundation of which we should live within ourselves, as well as with those we encounter, and as he has promised, these can be ours, simply for the asking. Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that although your power can be breathtaking and awesome, the radiance of your presence resides within your love, and be ever so thankful.
