Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! He humbled himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death-a criminal’s death by crucifixion! Because of that obedience, God exalted him and multiplied his greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names! The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name-in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. And every tongue will proclaim in every language: Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh, bringing glory and honor to God, his Father!” Philippians 2:6-11 TPT

While walking on earth, Jesus became vulnerable to some of the same types of circumstances as we do today in our daily lives. Whether or not he was accepted among the people, did not keep him from living a life of perfection. In life, and in death, he continued to be this perfect example for us to mold our lives after. Yet, in his love, and obedience for his father, he went to the cross.

In this passage, Jesus, became human, a lowly servant, humbling himself, so as to become vulnerable to his surroundings. He lived on this earth in perfection, and complete obedience to his father. Therefore, God exalted him, multiplied his greatness, and gave him the greatest name of all, so that, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow in reverence. We, as God’s children are blessed to have the
opportunity to follow in the steps of Jesus, learn from his Word, and seek His ways, all for the asking!

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that while Jesus lived on this earth, his life was an example for us, and that through him, we can have eternal life, and be ever so thankful. In

Christ Love
