Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“God’s marvelous grace has manifested in person, bringing salvation for everyone. This same grace teaches us how to live each day as we turn our backs on ungodliness and indulgent lifestyles and it equips us to live self-controlled, upright, godly lives in this present age. For we continue to look forward to the joyful fulfillment of our hope in the dawning splendor of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus, the Anointed One. He sacrificed himself for us that he might purchase our freedom from every lawless deed and to purify for himself a people who are his very own, passionate to do what is beautiful in his eyes. So as a gift of his love, and since we are faultless-innocent before his face-we can now become heirs of all things, all because of an overflowing hope of eternal life.” Titus 2:11-14, 3:7 TPT

What does living a life pleasing to God look or feel like? We can begin by looking at our Father, whose bountiful love and marvelous grace awaits us, as he stands always ready to enfold us, no matter the circumstance. Therefore, as his children, we are heirs to all that is needed to passionately move us through each trial, due to the sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

In this passage, the Apostle Paul is continuing to instruct us as to how to live a life pleasing to God due to his marvelous grace. This grace is unconditional, unmerited, and available. As we strive to live our lives before God, seeking to build his kingdom with the gifts he has made available to us, life can become more bearable and meaningful. Through it all, we continue to move forward as we live within the gift of his love, continuing through his grace, to seek more of his peace, knowing it can be ours, all for the asking!

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that through your marvelous grace, we have salvation filled with an overflowing hope of eternal life with you, and be ever so thankful.

In Christ Love
