When and wherever I see the American flag, I feel grateful to live in a country where freedom of choice prevails. In spite of all the troubling and frustrating issues our country is going through we still have that freedom to make choices that will, hopefully, enhance and create a better life for ourselves. Freedom of choice is also a responsibility because we want to make the “right” choice. Thankfully those of us who are in alignment with our Heavenly Father know what true freedom really is. When we listen to what He has to say about our choices and let Him guide us, then we have made the right choice and we are truly free. So much was given for us and we take so much for granted, may we all take this 4th of July a time to reflect and be grateful.
2Corinthians 3:17
Now the Lord is the spirit, and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Prayer:
Thank you Lord for this country we live in. May we be reminded to not take things so much for granted but be more grateful no matter what troubling and frustrating issues there are. In your precious name we pray. Amen
