PEACE IN THE NEW YEAR!

As we look forward to another new year, as with every new year, we are filled with so much anticipation. Above all will the new administration bring peace to a world that is in so much turmoil, will our economy, health , finances and living conditions remain stable? These are things that we don’t always have much control over, so what do we do? For those of us who make new year resolutions, why bother as we don’t follow through with them anyway! That is something ”we” have control over, so why not trust in the “one” who is in control of all the other stuff and let Him guide us through it all and help us to find the peace we are seeking. There will always be mountains to move along the way but the more control we give to our Heavenly Father the easier it becomes to move them. So, instead of feeling anxious about the new year, renew yourself in Him and enjoy the peace that comes with it.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Prayer:
Father, may we remember to give our concerns and worries of things we cannot control over to you. Only You know what lies ahead of us in the new year and we know when we are focused on You, You will see us through each new day. In your precious name we pray. Amen
