Remember Dad!

What do you think of when Father’s Day approaches? Do you remember your father with great affection or a little less affection? It’s hard to speak for everyone and the experiences they have had during their lifetime, and, may still be experiencing them. I was fortunate to have a father that was always present and able to provide for all our needs, even though we were far from rich, we were in a stable environment and our needs were met. God bless the man who will lead his family and put them first before himself. They will set the example, sometimes without realizing it, for their sons and daughters as to how it should be as a parent. It’s not always an easy task, especially when it comes to discipline, but when the ground rules are laid out and carried through, they are found, after some time, to be done with great affection and for our well being.

Our Heavenly Father does the same for us, we need only to follow His ground (or heavenly) rules to be obedient to Him. He is definitely ALWAYS there!

Genesis 18:19
For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what He has promised him.

Prayer:
Thank you Father for the earthly fathers in our lives. May they set the examples for other fathers and soon to be fathers as how to lead their families on the path to a bright and happy future. In your glorious name. Amen
