Seems to me the common sense of some folks has been lost somewhere along the way, although not true for all, but we see plenty of it everyday in some form. For instance, who would leave a baby, or small child in a car alone and go to work, shopping or visit a friend?! Why would you leave anything of great value visible in your car and park in a public area for “all” eyes to see? We hear of parents fighting, and worse, over a child’s ballgame, and the list goes on but you get the picture. Proverbs 2:6-7 tells us, For the Lord grants wisdom! From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He grants a treasure of “common sense” to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. I guess some people never heard those words, or if they did weren’t listening because “earthly” judgement and ego get in the way. If we think about it, Jesus was certainly a “common sense” person when He walked the earth. He wanted us to love, respect, and above all learn to get along with each other. Sounds like good “common sense” to
me!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we ask for clarity in our, and others, understanding of things that make sense to us and them, are not for our own selfish desires. so, as we all face decisions, give us the strength to trust what makes sense is in your light and truth. In your name we pray.
