Time seems to be flying by much too fast. There never seems to be enough time in the day, and for some, too much time wasted, but never the right amount of time. Then there are those times that seem to drag on forever, for instance having to wait in line, waiting on someone or sitting in a waiting room for a doctor appointment. Since these times are few and far between we should feel less anxious and be grateful for a slower pace, but easier said than done! No matter what our situation, time will continue to move forward. It would be nice to re-wind the clock occasionally, but since that won’t happen let’s greet each day as a gift that God has given us and make the most of the time we have. “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
Proverbs27:1
Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.
Prayer:
We thank you Lord for each and everyday, for all that we are blest with each day. Help us to not take our time for granted and put each day to good use. In your name we pray. Amen
