Winter Woes and Who’s In Control!

Our recent weather has certainly left something to be desired, but goes with the territory here in Tennessee. Compared to other parts of the country, and the world, we are very fortunate. I have to admit the ice on the trees, especially up on the hills is a site to behold, That’s when you are reminded of “Who” is in control of it all! This is God’s way of reminding us of that. He is also reminding us that soon we will see new growth, replenishment, and resurgence of life. Just when we think winter will never end, the sun will pop out and temperatures will increase, God doesn’t disappoint when it comes to our changing seasons, have patience and live” each day until then.

Genesis 8:22 NIV
“As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, although we are grateful for each and every day, we pray for patience as we await the arrival for renewal and resurgence of life. Thank you for the changing seasons, for every season there is a reason. Amen

  1. You are so right. The Tennessee weather is beautiful but my yard doesn’t know what season we are in. I have Snowdrops and daffodils blooming at the same time. Either way, thank you Lord for all the seasons
