Communication means conversing and passing information onto others. When there is a lack of communication, as many of us know, there are many issues that are, and can be created. Some of these issues are hurt feelings, mistrust and, in some cases, devastation as we have seen around the world because of, or lack of, good communication. Then there are those people that receive the information but hear only what they want to hear believing they know more than the one they are receiving the information from. Lack of communication can certainly be frustrating especially when you realize you have received the wrong information and has caused not only a lot of your precious time but emotional stress as well. Sometimes there are legitimate reasons for communication breakdowns and there isn’t much we can do about that accept to move on and correct the issue if possible, and that involves more communication! So you see how important communicating is. We do it everyday so we need to be disciplined enough to choose our words wisely. Communicating with our Heavenly Father is one thing because “He gets us,” but communicating with those around is another.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, grant us the wisdom to speak clearly so we may express our thoughts and feelings in a way that is easily understood to others. In Your precious name we pray. Amen
