Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“For the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks from the natural realm. But the One who comes from above is above everything and speaks of the highest realm of all! His message is about what he has seen and experienced, even though people don’t accept it. Yet those who embrace his message know in their hearts that it’s the truth. The One whom God has sent to represent him will speak the words of God, for God has poured out upon him the fullness of the Holy Spirit without limitation. The Father loves his Son so much that all things have been given into his hands. Those who trust in the Son possess eternal life; but those who don’t obey the Son will not see life, and God’s anger will rise up against them.” John 3:31-36 TPT

How do we feel about Jesus Christ, and how do we justify our feelings? We might even ask ourselves this same question concerning the Holy Spirit. Quite simply, without Jesus, we +are lost, attempting to live our lives on our own, will find us filled with frustration, anger, without peace, or the presence of the Holy Spirit. Unfortunately, this is the place we are finding ourselves forced to witness in so much of today’s society where Jesus has been removed from first place, to somewhere in the background.

In this passage, John, the Apostle, is introducing Jesus as the Son of God. Our Father, in his love for us, introduced His Only Son, through the Apostle John. He was stressing the fact that Jesus came from above, the Messiah, and the Savior who was from the beginning and will continue to live forever. He is filled with the fullness of the Holy Spirit without limitation, therefore, upon our acceptance of Him as our Savior, we are blessed to be filled with this same Holy Spirit. All who embrace His message and continue to live according to His Word can find peace within, knowing it can be ours, all for the asking.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that in your love for us, you gave your Son as your personal representative and a Savior for all, and be ever so thankful.

In Christ Love
Margaret
