GOD’S LITTLE MIRACLES!

At this time of year, we have the opportunity to experience God’s little miracles in the form of Spring blossoms, the grass turning from brown to green and the trees beginning to bud. Some may take these things for granted as just part of the Spring season, but it is so much more. It reminds us of God’s presence and His hands at work in ordinary things. When we stay focused on these types of miracles, we have a closer and more intimate relationship with God. We’ve all seen miracles happen on a larger scale, such as healing of the sick when all hope is lost, or a potential tragic accident that was avoided for reasons we don’t understand, only that it was a miracle everyone survived. As Christians, we know it is God’s intervention for whatever His reasons may be, and when we take time to look for God in the little things, the little miracles we take for granted, and allow them to remind us that He is not only for us but with us and is preparing us for the the major challenges and issues we encounter along the way. When you think about it, we experience many miracles everyday. Wouldn’t we be happier if we took them with “gratitude” rather taking them for “granted?”

Deuteronomy 10:21
He is the one you praise; He is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for all the miracles, large and small, that you grace us with. May we learn to have more gratitude for the beauty and goodness around us and eyes to see your hand at work in the ordinary moments. In your precious name we pray. Amen
