I am so grateful for the wisdom I have gained over the years. Of course, I always think, “if I only knew then what I know now!” However, when we are children, our minds are not mature enough to understand the fundamentals of life, and through the growing up periods we learn from life’s lessons. No matter how we try to use “our wisdom” to guide our children and grandchildren, some things they have to learn on their own as well. One thing I have learned, is to grow in God’s wisdom is so much more than our earthly wisdom, and if we are not tuned into His words we won’t grow or gain the wisdom we need to know what God has in store for us. Once we understand that it will help to simplify our lives!
Proverbs 2:6 NIV
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, continue to fill us with your words of wisdom and encouragement so that we may guide our younger generation into a life of choosing wisely to please not only You but a better and happier life for them. Amen
