There is nothing more joyful than to see the excitement on a child’s face when they see something, that to us, is the simplest of things. Watching a child recently on a program where she saw a Disney character, the excited look on her face was priceless, you couldn’t help but smile and be so happy and excited for her. To see how happy a child is when they find a pretty flower and bring it to their parent, or to see a puppy they can love on, and hearing how some young people were excited over grilled cheese sandwiches, hot chocolate and homemade soup, like grandma use to make, really puts things into perspective for us adults that take these things for granted. If only we could always be excited and appreciative about the simple things in life as a child does. I pray our children will show that same excitement on their faces as they come to know Jesus and all the wonderful things He has in store for them. Let us be the example, show the excitement in our faces when we talk about Him and what He does for us everyday.

Be enthusiastic to serve the Lord, keeping your passion toward Him boiling hot! Radiate with the glow of the Holy Spirit and let Him fill you with excitement as you serve Him.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the innocence of children and the joy and excitement they see in the simple things. As they grow into adults may they learn not to take those things for granted as so many adults do but learn to appreciate all you provide us with everyday. In your precious name we pray.
