With all the discouraging news we’ve heard lately it’s encouraging to hear of the good things happening. We hear of our brave police who risk their lives to save others, of those not fearing for their own lives to save others from fires, floods, etc. We hear of those who
provide food and shelter for people who have lost everything due to tragic events, or who have just fallen on hard times. We don’t ask, we just do when God is by our side, He will guide us and give us the tools we need to move forward and help others, no matter the cause or reason. I feel fortunate to have been part of a cause recently to bring people to fellowship and to see how spirits were lifted, and that is encouraging. As children of God our ministry is to reach out to others when and where we are needed, no questions asked!
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Prayer:
Father, we look to you to help us always find the encouragement through the discouragement, help to lead us from the dark places in our lives to the light so that we may do so for others. Amen
