When we travel most of us have a tendency to pack our bags with more than what we need. Excess baggage, but we want to be prepared for anything we may encounter along the way! If it gets too hot or too cold we want the proper clothing, or so we think. Excess baggage carries over to are personal and spiritual life as well . There are just some things that are difficult to let go of. We need to remind ourselves that the more we press into the word of God the more we can lighten our load as He wont let us “carry the yoke” by ourselves . If you choose to carry it yourself the heavier the burden and who needs that? Let Him help you to be relieved of some of your burden & labor.
Matthew 11:28 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest .
Prayer: Heavenly Father, may we be reminded each day that we don’t have to carry excess baggage alone, your are there to lighten the load and fill us with hope, faith and love . In your precious name. Amen
