FINDING PEACE FROM PAST MISTAKES!

How many of us still struggle with past regrets, disappointments and mistakes? How often don’t we wish we could go back and make things right? We know that can’t happen, so what do we do? We can either continue to live in the past and get “stuck,” or move forward, having learned from our past mistakes, and do better. If we choose to live in the past it will only cause us more harm than good and no one wants that, except for the enemy that is always watching and waiting to sink his hooks into us and drive us further away from our Father, where true peace is. Most of us can’t help reflecting on the past sometimes, but how much good does it really do? If you think about it, how many times do you see the word “mistake” in the Bible, and if I am not mistaken– (no pun intended), zero times! God certainly doesn’t see our mistakes, He only wants us to grow from them. If we continue to stay in “bondage” to our past we will miss out on the plans God has for us in the future. May we all continue to move forward in the peace, grace and love of God our Heavenly Father, and we pray for those with issues that prevent them from finding the peace they so desire.

Proverbs 28:13
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help us to not always reflect on the past but move forward and be excited for the plans you have in store for us. Continue to renew us everyday. In your precious name we pray. Amen
