Focusing On The New Year

Once again, another year comes to a close, and, once again, we focus on what the new year will bring. With what we have seen in the past two-three years it’s anybody’s guess as to what we might endure in 2023. Many of us make resolutions or set goals for ourselves to accomplish in the new year, but the majority of time never “are” accomplished. Maybe a better term to use is “I intend” to accomplish this or that in the new year, which is more of a “I will try” to accomplish but might not. It’s always good to set goals for yourself but if you’re not on the right path you will never get there. We know God will lead us if we let Him and that is how we should enter into the new year, be open to Him and let Him take our hands and guide us.

Prayer
As a new year begins Heavenly Father, we ask for your continued guidance and encouragement to lead us in the direction where you need us to be and once we are there we know we have reached our goals for we will feel accomplished and glorified, in Your name. Amen.
