God’s Glory

After a trip through East Tennessee recently, I was reminded of the glory of God’s “handiwork” in the beauty of the mountains. Even in the midst of rain clouds you could still see how majestically they reached toward heaven. There is so much peace and serenity to these beautiful works of God, as there is to everything He touches! Remember it was a mountaintop where Moses met God and found his purpose, and more. May we all be touched by the hand of God on our “mountaintop,” wherever that may be.

Exodus 33:18
Moses said, “Please show me your glory!”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we give thanks and be glorified by, and for, the beauty in everything you touch. Consume us with a desire to see You glorified in our lives. In your name, we pray. Amen

  1. As we head to the mountains of East TN later this month, may we be reminded of these words. Even when we are in the valley between, may we lift our eyes and know where our help comes from. Psalm 121
