Many of us had hoped for a white Christmas, ·but here in Middle Tennessee that rarely happens . Little did we know what was coming! This is another lesson to be learned, after the recent snow and frigid temperatures, that it is not about us and what “we” want and hope for on our time, but it is in God’s timing! Had this weather occurred over the holidays it could have been catastrophic. We could have seen more road accidents, loss of power, broken water pipes, and the list could go on. Think about it, even with a few inconveniences, when we hear ”it could have been worse” is so true. A good reminder of God’s timing. He is never early, never late, never in a hurry, but He is always on time!
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
There is a season (a time appointed) for everything, and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven.
Prayer:
Thank you, Lord for being a God of perfect timing. Remind us throughout the day to trust in your timing and to have faith that everything will happen according to your plan , In your precious name we pray. Amen
