I Don’t Care

How many times have we we loosely used, or heard the term, “I don’t care!” I think we develop that attitude when we have felt disrespected, or underappreciated because we don’t come up to the expectations of what some people think we should be.I believe beneath it all we really do care and that is why we develop that defensive attitude of “I don’t care.” As Christians we know the better attitude is that as long as we are okay in God’s eyes, it doesn’t matter what others think and we really don’t need to respond to the negativity. Remember, He made us in “His” image to be who we are, and everyday we do our best and strive to do better What would have happened if Jesus had said “He didn’t care!” Fortunately we know better and He “is” the example of how we should “all” care!

Galations 1:10
For am I seeking the approval of men or of God? Or am I trying to please man: If I were still trying to please man, i would not be a servant of Christ.

Prayer:
Father, help us to remember we are your children, that everyday we strive to please you in every way, even though we fall short frequently, we want to be “right” in your eyes, always. Amen
