IT’S ALL ABOUT LOVE!!

Not everyone is a fan of the Hallmark movies, but then, there are those that can’t get enough of them. They certainly are predictable as far as the plot and the outcome, we could almost write the scripts ourselves. Boy meets girl, they fall in love, have a misunderstanding but always manage to get back together in the end. All in all it’s about love along with its’ ups and downs. As much as we would love to think that Hallmark has the perfect love stories and they always end in “happily ever after,” it’s all a fantasy because in real life we have disappointment, heartache and loss. These are times we are reminded how much God loves us, and that is “no” fantasy. Scripture after scripture reminds us of that and also reminds us how we are to love others as He loves us, even though difficult as it may be some times, but once we understand what love truly is we can get past those difficult times and be more focused on a Christ-like life. It’s a work in progress everyday, but the deeper we dive into “His Words” the more, and better, understanding we have of what love is all about!

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for loving us so deeply. Continue teaching us to love others the way you love us with patience, compassion and forgiveness so that we may be a reflection of your light and love to those around us. In Your precious name we pray. Amen
