Just A Few Of My Thoughts…

“So I’ve learned from my experience that God protects the childlike and humble ones. For I was broken and brought low, but he answered me and came to my rescue! Now I can say to myself and to all, ‘Relax and rest, be confident and serene, for the Lord rewards fully those who simply trust in him.’ So now, what can I ever give back to God to repay him for the blessings he’s poured out on me? I will lift up my cup of salvation and praise him extravagantly for all that he’s done for me. I will fulfill the promise I made to God in the presence of his gathered people. Lord, because I am your loving servant, you have broken open my life and freed me from by chains. Now I’ll worship you passionately and bring to you my sacrifice of praise, drenched with thanksgiving!” Psalm 116:6-7, 12-14, 16-17 TPT

I think it would be safe to say that each of us have been in situations, or have found ourselves in the midst of circumstances, where we have felt lost, broken or brought low. How did we manage to survive each trial, and what, if anything, have they taught us? Did we attempt to resolve everything on our own, or did we seek answers from our always available, awaiting, Heavenly Father?

This passage confirms, that by simply trusting in Him with whatever life continues to bring forth, and keeping him as our anchor, showers blessings, while destroying chaos. In his love for us, he continues to rescue us and break every chain. In our love for Him, let us worship with passion and thanksgiving.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, although our life is filled with unforeseen circumstances, none of which surprise you, still you continue to await our call.
