Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy spirit among you in the bonds of peace, being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny. For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. And He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all! And he has generously given each one of us supernatural grace, according to the size of the gift of Christ”
Ephesians 4:2-7 TPT

How often do we find ourselves around someone, or within a group of people, that seems to try our patience? Whether we realize it or not, our lives should be a model for those with whom we encounter. Upon our acceptance of Jesus, as our Lord and Savior, we were adopted into His family. Are we living in such a manner as to be worthy of the calling we have received in becoming His very own, or do we find ourselves taking it for granted?

In this passage, the Apostle Paul is reminding us of the attributes we should possess, as we live and work within our congregations and workplaces for Christ. As His children, we each have been blessed with different abilities, enabling us to work together to strengthen His Kingdom. While learning to live a life pleasing to our Father, we need to seek our direction from the Holy Spirit, believing it can be ours, all for the asking.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, the importance of demonstrating gentleness and generous love, toward one another, just as you have shown.

In Christ Love
