“Endless love beyond, measurement that transcends our understanding-this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ-and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. And He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all!”

How awesome for us to have the ability to read the words Paul used as he prayed, asking for love, not just a little, but overflowing, unending love. No matter the situation of how low, or how lost we find ourselves in the midst of, the power we find as we seek the Holy Spirit fills us with the strength to see us through. Learning to lean on him for whatever tends to cross our path, in an effort to bring us down, can drastically change our lives.
In this passage, the Apostle Paul is praying, not only for the Ephesians, but for us today. He explains that God’s love reaches every aspect of our lives. Through faith we can have Jesus take up residence in our hearts, granting us his Spiritual Power. We can become all God wants and desires us to be, realizing that he is the perfect Father who leads and works through us, as we continue to seek more of him, knowing that it can all be ours, simply for the asking!
Heavenly Father, help us to remember, there is no greater love to be found, than the love you have for us, and be ever so thankful.
