Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God! So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures. And have you forgotten his encouraging words spoken to you as his children? He said, ‘My child, don’t underestimate the value of the discipline and training of the Lord God, or get depressed when he has to correct you. For the Lord’s training of your life is evidence of his faithful love. And when he draws you to himself, it proves you are his delightful child.'” Hebrews 12:2-3,5-6 TPT

At the onset of a new year, we find the perfect opportunity to take a good look at our lives, especially the places we might need to make some alterations, or minor adjustments. Have we lived our lives in ways that were pleasing to Jesus, or that would have made our Father proud? Have we gone through hardships with patience, growing closer to him, or attempted to handle mishaps on our own?

In this passage, we find that Jesus in his love for us, conquered the humiliation of the cross, just so that we would not become worn down, or cave under life’s pressures. While we find ourselves in the midst of facing hardships, becoming discouraged, or even losing our patience, we are never alone. Nothing we will ever endure, or confront will be a surprise to our Father, who remains caring for our every need, remembering, he is there simply for the asking.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember, that as your children, while in your training,
we grow through faithful love, and be ever so thankful.

In Christ Love

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than three hours nowadays, but
I by no means found any attention-grabbing
article like yours. It’s beautiful value enough for me.

Personally, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content material as you probably did, the internet might be much more useful than ever before.
