Just A Few Of My Thoughts …

“Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts! Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you I Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others. Let every word you speak be drenched with grace and tempered with truth and clarity. For then you will be prepared to give a respectful answer to anyone who asks about your faith.” Colossians 3:16-17, 23, 4:6 TPT

Can you imagine the word of Christ flowing into your heart, like that of a river, or a waterfall cascading over you, flooding you with all wisdom? Think about the differences we could make if we simply applied the Scriptures to our daily walk. Due to the love our Father continues to lavish upon us, we are to sing his praises, as we put our heart and soul into every activity we undertake. In this passage, the Apostle Paul is describing how the word of Christ should be instilled within our hearts, applied to our daily lives, with every activity drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. Our words should be chosen carefully, drenched with grace, and delivered with truth and clarity. As we continue to study the Word, teaching and instructing each other, as we learn to seek his
peace, and look for opportunities to share our faith in love, we know it can be ours for the asking.

Heavenly Father, help us to remember that it is only in and through your love for us that we are blessed with the opportunities of sharing through faith, Jesus, and be ever so thankful.

In Christ Love
