Just A Few Of My Thoughts…

“Lord, you are great and worthy of the highest praise! For there is no end to the discovery of the greatness that surrounds you. Generation after generation will declare more of your greatness and declare more of your glory. Your magnificent splendor and the miracles of your majesty are my constant meditation. Your awe-inspiring acts of power have everyone talking! I’m telling people everywhere about your excellent greatness! You’re kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and very patient with people who fail you. Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. God, everyone sees your goodness, for your tender love is blended into everything you do.” Psalm 145:3-6, 8-9 TPT
We all go through times when it seems as though everything we say, or attempt do just doesn’t work out, and we find ourselves burdened with feelings of anxiety. In our fast-pasted society, learning to lean on our Lord is a must.
In this passage, David has realized that no matter the burden, God is the bearer of each one. He is able to lift us up, and see us through every storm. He is righteous, gracious, compassionate, patient, and filled with a love that over-powers all. He is the source of our every need, standing ready to answer our call. Imagine being showered with His awe-inspiring power, in the midst of a river overflowing its banks with His tender love!
Heavenly Father, help us to remember, in your love for us, you continue to hear our cries, lift our burdens, and feel us with your peace, we need only ask.
