MOTHER’S DAY!

Mother’s Day can bring about so many different emotions, but no matter what you are feeling, we all had mothers, not to mention being moms, (& dads), ourselves. Not always an easy task, but we do the best we can and try to set good examples as did our parents and parents as far back as biblical times. Perfect? Not at all, but don’t we learn from our bumps, and even bruises, along the way? For many of us, as we grow and mature, our moms become not just “mom” but a good friend and confident, depending on the relationship you’ve had along the way. Not everyone can say that as some mother/child relationships can be volatile, and I for one am always sorry to hear that as my Mother and I had a very positive and close bond, and I am extremely grateful for that and the wonderful example she set for me. So thank you, Mom, for showing me what it is to be a christian woman and living the way God intended us to live, although we don’t always get it right, we strive to do better everyday.

Proverbs 31:26
She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

Prayer:
We give thanks Heavenly Father for the Mothers in our lives, past, present, future who have been a positive influence on us and shown us the christian way to live so we may be the example to those who come into our lives. In your precious name, we pray. Amen
