Deuteronomy 32:7
“Remember the days of old,
Consider the years of many generations.
Ask your father, and he will show you;
Your elders, and they will tell you:
This scripture says so much about a family reunion. Having recently attending one and reminding myself of where we come from and who we are. We are certainly a diversified family and, although far from perfect, have all succeeded in our own way. We learned so much from our elders and as I searched the faces of the younger family members I prayed they would listen and learn from their elders as well and do better!
We give thanks O Lord for the wisdom of our elders and the wisdom you have blessed us with – we pray our younger generation will listen & learn from us all. Amen
