When someone gives a testimony they are “telling what they saw and what they know.” In Christianity, it is an “eyewitness account of what God has done, and is continuing to do in our lives.” Some will say their testimony is what they gave up for God, but it is the other way around, it is what He gave up for us, and the closer we come to Him the more we understand that. Testimonial examples: surviving a horrendous accident, or having to make an unexpected detour that could have otherwise had a devastating result had we gone the normal route, or why do we end up in places where we had never intended to be, but found out what a blessing it was. There are many more testimonies to be shared and they are important to share so people understand how God looks out for us. There are reasons, we don’t need definitive answers, just trust and know they are God’s reasons. The answers will be revealed all in good time. What is your testimony? Share with someone who needs to hear it and make an impact, who knows it could change their life!
Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we pray for boldness to share with others our testimonies of Your goodness so that Your love and deliverance will reach them in specific, remarkable ways. In your precious name we pray. Amen
