Just when we think things are about to calm down , the storms begin to rage once again, and it’s not only the weather conditions. It could be in our personal lives, work place or many other things. After having spent a year battling cancer, my daughter thought it was all behind her but recently was diagnosed with more issues, cancer related. Prognosis unknown yet but she will deal with what lays ahead. So many of us are dealing with issues such as that and we wonder when it will all end, and maybe it won’t. This is when our faith is tested. Our faith shows our strength and obedience to God. Depending on our relationship with Him, difficulties and challenges can be flawed if we aren’t in alignment with God’s love and provisions for us. Strong faith teaches us resilience and endurance facing hardships and setbacks. Without strong faith outside influences can challenge commitment to our faith. There are so many stories in the Bible about tests of faith, Job and Abraham are two stories that come to mind as I write this, and the more we dive into God’s word the stronger our faith will grow, just knowing that He is there, always. May your faith and love in, and for, God carry you through whatever challenges you are facing today!

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, continue to strengthen our faith. Teach us to love you deeply, extend love to others, especially in times of pain. May our faith be fortified as we live according to scripture, and may our faith be the example to others how it brings us peace. In Your precious name. Amen
