THE TRAGEDY OF WARS!

It’ s heartbreaking to hear of those who are the victims of war. To know there are people starving to death in a world where food should be plentiful for all but, unfortunately, evil has a strong hold on those responsible for barring access to the needs of the innocent, the victims of the horrific wars we are hearing about everyday. Not only are these victims needing food, but most have lost their homes and all their belongings and many of their family members as well. I know as Christians the most we can do for those in war-torn countries is to pray for an end, a compromise, anything to find peace. Our country may have its issues, but most all of us will never know the tragedy of war and the long term effect it could have on us, however, we are seeing evil in progress, and that alone should want us to strengthen our faith and put on the Armor of God for protection. We know He “will” intervene when the time is right! This we pray for all those effected by the tragedy of war.

Job 5 :20
In famine He shall redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, as we lift those up who are suffering in war-torn nations, grant them comfort, safety and an end to the violence and evil around them. Bring healing to their wounds and restore hope in their hearts. May they find your love to be a source of strength and peace. In your precious name we pray. Amen
