So often we listen to people say they hear that “little voice from within” when they are about to make a decision about something as to how and what they should do. We make decisions everyday, some minor and some major . Sometimes we make decisions on impulse, which is never a good idea, unless it is urgent and that can be risky too. As Christians, when we hear that voice from within, we “know” where it is coming from, and by keeping ourselves open to it, we know that the guidance from that inner voice will
lead us to where we need to be, and what we need to do. As we grow closer to our God, we become more familiar with His voice and when He speaks to us from within, we recognize it immediately and can trust that whatever we are told is the truth. For those that don’t know our God, that inner voice you hear could be “anyone’s,” and that is a scary thought if you can’t recognize it!
Mark 4:24
And He said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you.”
Prayer:
Father, we ask that our spiritual ears are kept open so that we may hear you clearly everyday and be lead to the truth always. In your precious name. Amen
