WAITING FOR WHAT?

There are very few days we don’t have to wait for something. We wait in line, waiting rooms, traffic and various other things . Few of us enjoy waiting, but it seems to be a fact of life. Looking at waiting from another perspective we could see it as a blessing. Waiting might prevent a tragic event from happening as you go about your business later on. Waiting might put you in a place where you might bless someone you encounter. Waiting is learning to have patience, however, easier said then done! We can choose to lose patience, become anxious and make ourselves miserable, or focus on the blessings we receive daily. We are learning patience from God as we wait on answers from Him, but on and in “His” time, not ours . Waiting is not a waste of time, it’s an investment of time. God is strengthening your heart, so “be still and know, and above all, “LEARN” who “HE” is!

Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord, be strong and let your heart take courage, wait for the Lord!

Prayer:
Father, help us to learn how to use our “waiting” time constructively so we don’t lose patience, feel anxious and be in a place we’d rather not be. Help us to put our time to good use and not waste it . Life is too precious and a gift you have blessed us with . In your name we pray. Amen
