It seems like we are faced with senseless tragedies everyday. School shootings, people shooting each other because they don’t like what they have said or what they stand for not to mention those who shoot someone because they didn’t get what they wanted. I know when God created this world it was perfect, then He created humans and gave them free will and we saw how that worked for Adam and Eve. Evil is everywhere and constantly trying to manipulate us all, and we have seen that most recently in a big way. It is so difficult for us all to understand how such things could happen but Jesus said “bad things would happen,” not maybe they would, but WILL happen. We all wish we could find the answers to how to stop these horrendous things from happening. We look to our countries leaders and they can’t seem to find the answers either. As long as people have free will they can choose to have a genuine love and relationship with God or be manipulated by evil and suffer the consequences of their actions. As Christians we must always remember that God is so good, He is the author of life, not the taker of life, and He is always present and is aware of what’s going on. Continue to set, or be, the example, of what a Christian is and show others how to shun away from evil, and that is a day to day
challenge for many of us because it’s in our face everyday, but we are stronger than that and we know the end goal is Victory!

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we pray for strength, peace and comfort for the victims and families who have met with such horrendous tragedies not only in recent days, but all who have suffered from such tragedies. You warned us that many would have troubles and sorrow on this earth, but help stabilize us all with your continued presence. In your precious name we pray. Amen
