On a recent Sunday our pastor gave a sermon on “sowing seeds.” On the same Sunday our adult Sunday school class discussed a question about “who we are working for and why?” Putting the two together not only are we working for our families by sowing seeds in the ground to provide food for them, but sowing the seeds in them to become successful in life. We work to survive! However, the one we truly work for is God who will provide us with all the seeds we will need to sow, not only for our families to grow food for, but to reap the benefits that He will bless us with to survive. As our employer God’s benefits are out of this world, work as if you are working for God!
Colossians 3:23
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men .
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we give thanks for the seeds of life you provide us with everyday, help us to continue “sowing” them in the way you desire us to do that we may help to ·grow~this world into a better place to live.
