“You will find true success when you find me, for I have insight into wise plans that are designed just for you. I hold in my hands living-understanding, courage, and strength. Very seldom do we find such an attribute, in this case wisdom, being liken to that of a Lady. So, we have Lady Wisdom to seek for our success. No matter what our occupation or our desires in this life, without wisdom we will fail. The desire of this lady, along with her many companions, such as knowledge, direction, and the love and respect of our Lord, can help to assure us in our success.
In this passage we have the heart of Lady Wisdom’s address. It serves as a tribute intended to motivate people to seek her. She describes all she can do to ensure the success of those who pursue her and continues with the fact that her worth is more than silver and gold, or even an abundance of income. She holds in her hands living-understanding, courage, strength, and shows her love to those who passionately seek her in the asking.
Heavenly Father, help us to remember the importance of seeking your wisdom, no matter the circumstance, and for that, we are ever so thankful.
